OK,so I don't live in the US,and here Mexican food isn't that popular so I couldn't find any Burrito Mix at my local shop,I also searched for recipes to do it myself but I don't have enough ingredients...
So I have flour tortillas,low-salted cheese,non-salted cheese, yellow cheese,American cheese with cream, salami,a meat paddy, green peppers,tomatoes,lemons,sunflower-oil,ri鈥?oil,olive oil, bread, milk, eggs.I'm asking for an easy recipe,I've never done burritos before,I just want a recipe that I can make with the ingredients available to me.I said earlier that I couldn't find burrito mix at my shop,I searched for burrito recipes and it said I needed burrito mix,but I do have some spices that might do the job: salt, black pepper, paprika, Mediterranean Salad Dressing (herbal flavor),a mix:salt, red sweet pepper, sugar, onion, black pepper, chili, green coriander and coriander seeds;chicken mix: curry, sweet boia, chili, pepper, ginger.
Also,on the back of the 8-pack flour tortillas I bought,it said I had to cook the burritos in the oven at 200 Celsius degrees...Also,I don't have a microwave oven.
So what I want is a step-by-step guide by which I can make some decent burritos with the ingredients I have now. Please specify quantities, too.
P.S: I have only one meat paddy,but it doesn't matter,right now I want just one burrito :)
plzkthx guys!!!Easy to make Burritos?
Crumble and brown the meat from the beef pattie, add salt pepper, and onion and chili powder. Add a little water and some of the cooked rice to the pan to warm. Place the tortillas on top of the warming beef and rice, cover for few minutes and let the tortilla soften up. Lay the softened tortilla on a plate, spoon the beef and rice mixture in the lower center portion of the tortilla and cover the beef with shredded cheese, tomato and lettuce. Fold the sides in over the beef mixture and roll from the bottom. You can wrap this in foil and bake for a few minutes or just dig in.
