I have a 1983 vw holdsworth 1.9 transporter...just wondering, is it an easy job to clean the carbs %26amp; how would I go about doing It?How to you clean the carbs on an 1983 vw transporter?A cheap easy way is to disassemble the carbs, put the parts in a large pan with tide washing powder %26amp; water then boil everything for at least 5 minutes. put back together with new gaskets.
