I'm looking to buy a 1969 VW Beetle that I found for sale in my city, but I want to know the blue book value or something similar so I know if the asking price is fair. Does anyone know where to look? Kelly Blue Book only let us check pricing on a vehicle dating back to 1987. Help? How to find vehicle pricing for a 1969 VW Beetle? If you really want to know what it is worth whether selling or buying from a dealer or private owner and you are withing the US then go to Kelly's blue online I have the link below. You can find out any value or pricing whether new or old on there and also check out a consumer's report on it and see what you get although I have never used consumer reports before. But Kelly's Blue Book is the best!!!
Dag I jumped the gun on this one but give Consumer reports a try.

Google vintage Volkswagon pricing. Some sites poped up. Don't know where you are but in my town there is a dealership that is strictly vintage VW. Check out a place like that. Ask other owers when you see a bug out there what they paid. Most owers are happy to talk about their cool bugs and buses.
Good luck
