How do you repair the VW oil filter housing?

I changed the oil for the first time in my VW Golf (R32) and the little oil filter drain plug Torx fitting is stripped out. How on earth would I get that out...or should I just replace the entire housing ($55) and drain plug ($20)?How do you repair the VW oil filter housing?If you have the funds available I would replace the whole assembly. If there haven't been any leaks so far it is likely torqued correctly, but the next time you go to change the oil you will have to deal with it again. You have until your next oil change to get that parts, I would do it then so you don't have to spend the money on the oil until you are ready too.
