Simple Recipe for Beginners?

What is a simple recipe I can use to start cooking, nothing too simple but with some degree of difficulty like a Bacon Carbonara (no eggs) or some chicken recipe like a Mediterranean Shish Tawook. Recipe lists and ideas would be great, thanks!Simple Recipe for Beginners?
BACON CARBONARA

4-6 bacon slices, diced

3 tbsp. chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1 c. heavy cream

8 oz. thin spaghetti or fettuccine

1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

1/8 tsp. ground pepper

2 tbsp. chopped parsley

In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon about 3 minutes or until limp. Add onion; cook 3-5 minutes longer or until bacon is browned, stirring occasionally. Add garlic, cook 30 seconds. Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon fat from skillet. Stir in cream; bring just to boiling point. Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 minutes. Keep warm.

Add cooked spaghetti, Parmesan cheese, pepper and parsley to cream mixture. Toss to coat spaghetti well. Serves 4-6. Prep time: about 10 minutes. Cooking time: 10-15 minutes.

I started with homemade cookies when I was like... 10. Maybe look up some easy recipes to make.

Like.. go to google and look up 'Easy brownies' or 'Easy Dinner ideas' Something like that, than start going into more difficult things like spaghetti or something. Don't be afraid to mess up, that's mostly what cooking is about. Making mistakes %26amp; learning from them. Any more questions just message me. :)

Hi there. If you want an easy and quick Asian snack, try my (canned) tuna spring rolls. An easy but impressive side dish: roast rosemary potatoes. And for a main course, baked baby back ribs or perhaps a chili con carne dish.

All these are easy to prepare and cook but look impressive when served.Simple Recipe for Beginners?
Do you have access to, or can you buy a bottle of marsala wine? If so, this is delicious. http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1639,140鈥?/a>
