How do i clean a Carburator on a 1982 Honda Atc 185s?

I have a 1982 Honda 185s and when i give it gas it dies. It will start up and Idle just fine but as soon as i give it gas it dies on me. Please help. Whats wrong, is it the carburator???How do i clean a Carburator on a 1982 Honda Atc 185s?Without any other details, it could be anything. However, a dirty carburetor does sound suspect. It could also be engine compression, or bad timing, etc. etc. Bad spark from the plugs, etc. etc. Overheating, etc. etc.



More details are needed such as any sounds from the vehicle when this occurs, type of regular maintenance, previous repair/maintenance of the vehicle, etc.

How do i clean a Carburator on a 1982 Honda Atc 185s?I have the same wheeler....take your jets out and clean them really good....run a tank of gas then re clean jets....worked for me hope it works for you
