What's considered high miles for a honda/toyota?

I need to buy a car by January and have had not too much luck. I'm going to a dealership tomorrow and want to look at a 94 Honda Accord with 179,768 miles on it. I don't know much about cars, but are the miles too high for this car? Will it die soon if I buy it? What's considered high miles for a honda or toyota?

Thanks! What's considered high miles for a honda/toyota?Frankly, 180,000 miles is high for any car but an Accord could easily keep running until the wheels fall off. With a car of that (or any) age I would run a CarFax report and make sure things have been maintained. Maintenance is key to extending the life-span of any car. Have a mechanic take a look at the car to check for rust, frame damage, condition of the belts, engine components, and anything else that could be worn out at this age.

Hondas, Toyotas, Saabs, and Volvos are easily capable of 300,000 miles. What's considered high miles for a honda/toyota?
730,000 milesWhat's considered high miles for a honda/toyota?180K is pretty high. If they have good records kept by the previous owner, Honda mechanic records and you check the vehicle history (Car Fax), this car could last many more miles. What's considered high miles for a honda/toyota?
Thats very high and even with a Honda you will have problem right from the start. High miles are high miles regardless of brand, andything over 100 k is risky. What's considered high miles for a honda/toyota?That's very high mileage, but it's also an old car. However high mileage is not necessarily a problem if the car was well cared for and maintained well. But the only way you can know that is to have a mechanic check the car over BEFORE you buy.

Also check with www.kbb.com to make sure you pay a fair price.

Remember, used cars are sold "as-is" which means you can't take it back if you find problems later, even as you drive it home from the sale.
