thanks in advance much love. What do i need to know about customizing a honda civic and is there an ebook for it?Well it sounds like your a beginner to the tuner world. Ill start by telling you you have a lot to learn. There is a lot of math, common sense, and basic physics involved in tuning cars. In fact, it just way too much info to put in this answer. Anyone will tell you, if your going to customize a car, IT BETTER BE STICK!!!! OTHER WISE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Automatic trannys will mothball the hell out of your car and its performance. So trust me, dont do it. Stick to clutches. Any other questions send me an email. Ill be glad to help out. What do i need to know about customizing a honda civic and is there an ebook for it?John is wrong. Automatic is unbeatable for drag racing. But for your question, there are literally 100s of books out there on the subject of automotive performance and customization, and it's a multi-billion dollar industry for a reason. I don't know about e-books, but start taking automotive courses at local community colleges or vocational-tech schools to learn the basics of how a car works and how to fix it first, before you start changing things. Also make yourself familiar with algebra and trigonometry if you're out for speed, and take a good physics intro course. From there...there's 100's of years of knowledge. Nobody will ever know everything for even 1 model of car such as a Civic, because there's just too much to know. And unless you go to MIT or Colorado school of Mines, you won't come even close. It's a big world when you look under the hood.
As for what you can replace, the simple answer is...everything.What do i need to know about customizing a honda civic and is there an ebook for it?just go to the honda civic forum
