What type of rice is served at a Mediterranean restaurant?

I had it last night and it is delicious! It tasted like it had lemon or plain yogurt in it. Any recipes??What type of rice is served at a Mediterranean restaurant?
Basmati is an Indian rice, I think the rice you had was a long grained rice. Probably simmered in a flavorful stock with a little butter and lemon juice. Sometimes fresh herbs are added after it is cooked. It is delicious!
