1 cup uncooked Bowtie
1 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 can aspargus rinsed and drained
1 large garlic clove, finely minced
3 cups ripe tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
1/2 cup thinly-sliced fresh basil
Salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup grated Romano cheese.
Cook the pasta - salted water until al dente, usually about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain.
While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in skillet , add the aspargus and garlic. Cook, stirring, until aspargus are heated about 3 minutes. Remove skillet from heat.
Add tomatoes, olives, basil, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.

Williams Mediterranean Pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, coarsely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup kalamata olives, sliced
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 cups penne
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can white tuna in water, drained and broken into chunks
3/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, olives, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer until thickenend, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta until tender but firm, 8 to 10 minutes.
Drain and return to the pot.
Add the tomato mixture, tuna, feta cheese and parsley.
Gently toss to coat.
