She doesn't know where to go...but hinted that she needed it. I didn't want to ask her the brand name of her system and such since this would be a gift and surprise. I don't know how much it is, but a friend has an '04 sienna van and she received 1 free upgrade from toyota, the 2nd time she wanted to upgrade they handed her a bill for $417. That's labor, and the software, and she didn't get to keep the software on disc.

I guess you a talking about maps. Many navigation systems can be upgraded by buying a new CD and installing the info. You can do it yourself. Some systems are more complicated and it's better if a dealer does it.
Call a Honda dealer and ask how to do it. Just give them the year and model of the car and they should know which navigation came with this car. Talk to a service manager at a dealership.
