Would it be ok to ride a 1978 Honda Express for 5 miles straight?

I need to get to work which is 5 miles away, I'm looking into 1978 Honda Express, but I don't know if it would handle going 5 miles in and 5 miles back with full throttle almost all the way. Would it have a lot of problems? How do you ride yours? Thanks

BTW how fast would it go with a 120 pound person on it?Would it be ok to ride a 1978 Honda Express for 5 miles straight? You won't go faster than 30 mph, and probably will be averaging around 20 mph. Headwinds and hills are not your friends on a little scoot like that.

As for running flat out? If it's in good condition, you won't have any issues at all. That's what they're designed to do.

Just be careful in your commute as you'll likely be impeding traffic the whole way, especially during rush hour. Cars don't respect motorcycles (or 1978 Honda Expresses...)Would it be ok to ride a 1978 Honda Express for 5 miles straight?oH-oH! 5 miles, that's a buster!

And adding 120 lbs.!?!?!

You have to be kidding! Of course, if that machine doesn't go 10,000 miles with 120 lbs. on it, it's not a real Honda.Would it be ok to ride a 1978 Honda Express for 5 miles straight? You'll be able to do WAY more than 5 miles wide open if the thing is running up to par.Would it be ok to ride a 1978 Honda Express for 5 miles straight?
That's exactly what it was made for.
