I need to replace my transmission soon off of my automatic 97 Honda Civic EX and wanted to know if it was possible to replace with one off of an older automatic 92-95 Civic. I know that a 92-95 Honda civic dx manual transmission will fit perfectly on a 97 civic dx because I have done that on my car. you might want to check if the flywheel and torque converter match up
As far as I know they do match up, but I can't be sure
