What's your favorite recipe?

I love to cook and its a very precious hobby of mine but I am running out of new things to try. I love Asian and Mediterranean dishes the best but I am open to anything. Any suggestions? What's your favorite recipe?
this is the favorite dish of a friend of mine, his recipe calls for mushrooms as well. but I leave them out. Very Mediterranean.

My favorite Asian dish is probably Panang Curry Chicken (but you can also use beef, pork, etc)- http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/panang-cur鈥?/a>

I'm also a big fan of this lasagna recipe..it's INCREDIBLE- http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Worlds-Best鈥?/a>
I have no true favorite; I love to cook and eat everything! How about Chicken Marsala? Steak Diane (I make mine using pork loin chops and it's great)? Chicken Alfredo? Chili Verde? French Onion Soup? Chicken Piccata (I don't eat veal; too cruel)? Roast Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic? I could go on for days.

I read cookbooks like novels, and do Google searches, for "recipe, (some meat), (some other ingredient)" for ideas. I love the old, old cookbooks I find in thrift stores; honestly, some are so vague that I have to guess what "one jar" or "one can" of something is, but there's nothing like a Womens' Charity League fundraising cookbook to make me smile!

And of course, there's always Julia, and Jacques, for inspiration!

Bon appetit!!!
