The biggest question, however, is what the difference between the XR50 and the CR50 is, and are the parts interchangeable?
ANY information about this would be greatly appreciated :)What is the difference between a Honda CR50 and a XR 50?Just about NOTHING will fit or interchange between those two bikes, except MAYBE some of the suspension parts....nothing on the motors or frames will swap. What is the difference between a Honda CR50 and a XR 50?
If you mean specifically a CR, then, no, the parts shouldn,t be interchangeable, the CR is a two stroke, whereas the XR is a four stroke. The engine Parts will not be the same. However, the body (fenders, number plate, etc.) is usually the same, if on the same year bike. Check and see what year's are compatable. What is the difference between a Honda CR50 and a XR 50?a cr50 and an xr50 are two different bikes. the cr50 is a two stroke motor. (they take mixed gasoline, and they have more top end power then four strokes.)
the xr50 is a four stroke motor. ( it doesn't quite have the power as a two stroke, but is still fun to ride and don't break as often as two stroke. and they take regular gasoline.)
NO THE PARTS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. it shouldn't be hard to find parts for an xr50.
@ Honda 650RRRR you are wrong. cr 50 and crf 50 are different also, THE CR50 IS A TWO STROKE. crf 50 is a four stroke. What is the difference between a Honda CR50 and a XR 50?
Kaedyn miller is correct! All these other people are not well informed, they are confusing CR with CRF. The cr50 is actually a crf50. Honda changed the name of the xr70,100, and 50 to CRF 70, 100, and 50. Most parts are interchangable, but not all. The bike is not a 2 stroke! What is the difference between a Honda CR50 and a XR 50?Nothing in 2004 the just changed the XR to CRF I dont know why but there the same in enging just the stilyel is a bit dieferent!!What is the difference between a Honda CR50 and a XR 50?
