Does it stay the same price until they sell it?What happens if a Honda dealership doesn't sell their 2010 cars by 2011?They might come down a little but not thousands of dollars.
The sticker price never changes. But, if they have had a car for a long time and want it gone, they might accept less. No dealer is ever going to lose thousands of dollars because the car is a few months old.

2011 Honda ElementWord has come down from Honda that the 2011 Element will be the final model year of production for the crossover. The Element remains pretty much the same model that went on sale in December 2002, which makes it Honda鈥檚 oldest model and one of the oldest models currently on sale in the U.S.
For the 2011 model year, Honda dropped the Element鈥檚 youth-oriented SC trim that was added for the 2007 model year. There鈥檚 no navigation option on the EX trim anymore, either. The 2011 Element starts at $20,825. To learn more about the trim features and pricing, go here.
There is no indication that Honda will replace the Element with another model. Honda has sold nearly 325,000 Elements in the United States so far. What happens if a Honda dealership doesn't sell their 2010 cars by 2011?If you wanna buy a 2010 model, wait til the 2011 comes out, in this way, you can haggle them to get the "invoice price or at a great deal $1500 below invoice, it depends how har you haggle them, and it depends how badly they need to sell the car.

They auction cars when they need to make room for new vehicles. The auction is usually invite only for other smaller dealers. I believe any car that is 5 years or less is still considered "new".
