Help with hummus recipe?

I got the BEST hummus from a little Mediterranean deli and the ingredients are listed right on it---now, what measurements?

chickpeas

cumin

olive oil

tahini

garlic

salt

citric acidHelp with hummus recipe?
1 16 oz can of chickpeas or garbanzo beans

1/4 cup liquid from can of chickpeas

3-5 tablespoons lemon juice (depending on taste)

1 1/2 tablespoons tahini

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

your ingredient list has cumin in it. be very cautious on how much you use. with this recipe i would say only a 1/2 tsp at most. cumin is a strong spice that is tough to cover up if you add too much. also you have citric acid. thats just a lemon. so maybe the juice from half a lemon or 1 T of lemon juice. somewhere around there should be good!Help with hummus recipe?
Since it's your first time making it use canned chickpeas.

2 cans chickpeas, drained (some dedicated cooks remove the skins; I don't).

1 tsp. cumin

1/4 c. olive oil (may need more)

1/4 c. tahini or to taste (start w/ the quarter)

1 minced clove garlic

1 tsp. salt

1 tbs. lemon juice (may need more to taste)

In cuisinart, whirl chickpeas and cumin until paste forms. Drizzle in olive oil w/ engine still running, add tahini and other ingredients. Whirl until fully smooth; add more oil if not of desired consistency. Taste for salt, lemon and garlic and correct. when in serving dish drizzle with a little more oil.Help with hummus recipe?
Hummus is easy and can be made to your taste.

Drain 1 can of chick peas (garbanzo beans) and put into a food processor or bowl you can mix with a hand blender.

Add a few pinches of cumin (more if you prefer)

3-4 tablespoons of tahini

a clove or 2 of fresh garlic - again more or less to your preference

2-3 tablespoons of good olive oil

The juice of half a lemon - more or less to your preference. I like a lot.

salt and pepper to taste

Mix all of this together till smooth

Serve on pita wedges or as a base for other additions on canapes or crackers with tomato and cucumber slices
